It is reported that compared with traditional photovoltaic power plants, floating photovoltaic power plants install photovoltaic power generation components on water surface floating bodies, which does not occupy land resources, reduces water evaporation, and inhibits algae growth. At the same time, water bodies also cool photovoltaic components and cables. Can effectively improve power generation efficiency. Since 2015, Anhui Province has actively explored surface photovoltaic power generation and promoted green development in the coal mining subsidence areas of Lianghuai, organized and compiled the "Plan for National Advanced Technology Photovoltaic Demonstration Bases in Lianghuai Coal Mining Subsidence Areas", and planned to build 3.2 million from 2016 to 2018. The kilowatt water surface photovoltaic power plant has been approved by the National Hydropower and Water Resources Planning and Design Institute and officially reported to the National Energy Administration. The completion and commissioning of this hydro photovoltaic power station demonstration project has accumulated important experience for the construction of a national advanced technology photovoltaic demonstration base in the coal mining subsidence area of Lianghuai, Anhui Province.
