Contributing to Development of Vietnam’s New Energy, Collaborating to Build High-quality Waterborne Projects

On August 22, 2019, the first "Vietnam-China" New Energy Summit was held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Director Sun Yuqin, technical representative of Shanghai Qihua Waterborne Engineering Construction Co., Ltd. delivered a keynote speech at the scene. She expressed the development potential of the new energy market in Vietnam Huge, willing to work with colleagues from all walks of life to build high-quality floating floating photovoltaic power stations to help the new energy "aircraft carrier" move forward.

Director Sun pointed out that, as a high-tech enterprise in China, Shanghai Qihua is the earliest to develop and produce water engineering floating system and intelligent water photovoltaic power floating system. Since the foundation, Qihua has been adhering to the purpose of “technology leading, quality-oriented, customer first”, successfully constructed more than 400 water floating projects and more than 10 water floating photovoltaic power plant projects in different regions at home and abroad, among which, the water floating projects mainly include marine standard competition platform for the 14th FINA World Championships held by Shanghai, the large water floating main venue of 10th Session of Tourism Development Conference held by Qiannan, Guizhou Province (The maximum water depth is 180 meters, and the maximum water level is 45 meters. It can accommodate 30,000 people at the same time.),creating two Guinness World Records: the world’s longest pontoon bridge (5130m) and the world’s largest water floating landscape amusement park (using over 239600 floaters), the large water floating comprehensive amusement park covering 65 mu in Zhaotong, Yunnan Province (The maximum water depth is 300 meters, and the maximum water level is 15 meters. It can accommodate 6000 people at the same time.), the large cross-river steel structure floating bridges on the subject of “Impression of Jialing River” in Nanchong, Sichuan Province, the water floating projects mainly include marine standard competition platform for the 14th FINA World Championships held by Shanghai, the seaplane port for the first regular line from Beihai to Weizhou Island, Guangxi Province in China, the large floating photovoltaic power plant built on coal mining subsidence areas in Huainan and Huaibei, Anhui Province, the large water floating photovoltaic power plant in Yancheng, Jiangsu Province, the large floating photovoltaic power plant built in Wuhu, Anhui Province, the largest 200MW water floating photovoltaic power plant (first-phase 50MW completed.) .

Floating system of water photovoltaic power station by Shanghai Qihua uses polymer high density modified anti-aging HDPE composite material, floats manufactured by special process blow molding, including supporting anchoring system, etc., and installed photovoltaic modules on the float on the water surface to generate electricity. On the basis of not occupying agricultural, woodland, mountain, industrial, residential land, it is only necessary to construct on the water surface of lakes, rivers, reservoirs, bay havens, hydroelectric power station storage reservoirs, coal mining subsidence areas, etc., which saves land resources, reduce water surface evaporation, inhibit algae growth, and also play a role in protecting the water surface ecological environment.

Shanghai Qihua not only built a floating photovoltaic floating system factory in China, but also invested in a floating photovoltaic floating system factory in Vietnam. It is also the first Chinese company to build a floating photovoltaic power plant oversea and the first company to invest in a foreign factory -200MW large water floating photovoltaic power station in Binh Thuan Province, Vietnam (the largest single one in the world, the first in Southeast Asia) Shanghai Qihua has invested and built a factory in the local project in Binh Thuan Province, Vietnam in July 2018, and invested in the construction of 9 complete production lines. The photovoltaic floating system production plant was completed in 2 months and successfully started production. The first phase of 50MW has been completed and successfully connected to the grid for power generation.

The following picture is the 200MW floating floating photovoltaic power station project in Binh Thuan Province, Vietnam, which is the largest single one planned in the world and the first floating floating photovoltaic power station in Southeast Asia. This project is a contract signed by our company directly with the State Vietnam National Grid and obtained through fierce competition through international bidding. All the floating system production and construction contracts signed separately with the investment owner, and the entire design of this floating photovoltaic floating power plant : The design including floating system, anchoring, detailed arrangement of photovoltaic modules, cable arrangement, inverter, combiner box, number and arrangement of box transformers are detailed design drawings provided by our Shanghai Qihua, The first phase of 47.5MW of the first floating photovoltaic power plant in Southeast Asia that we built in Vietnam has been connected to the grid for power generation. It can generate 380,000 kWh in July at most, which is 12% more efficient than traditional ground-based photovoltaic power plants. It is estimated that the recoverable investment cost will be more than 6 years, which is one and a half years higher than the original plan, and has been highly recognized by the owners and government leaders of Vietnam State Grid.

We use the products of the global leading companies in the field of fine chemicals. The raw materials are imported from Qatar and Saudi Arabia. The products of Qihua are never produced using fake materials, and we do not cut corners and fooling customers. The raw materials used in the domestic industry are generally domestically used modified materials, and there is a big difference with our company's materials. In the product service life of 25 years, we are more competitive than any company. Based on the above achievements and honors, we also actively cooperate with the domestic water project authority design institutions and related scientific research units, as well as constantly research and develop new material, new technology, new process and new product, to provide global customers with higher quality and more comprehensive water project services
